Tiger Woods plans his return

Tiger Woods, the former number one golfer in the world, Announced yesterday he will be returning to golf after a full year off. Woods said he hopes to play in the Safeway Open October 13-16.

For months, people have been waiting to see if Wwods would ever truly play again. His return is an exciting time for golf fans. “I’m excited to watch him[Woods] play again. It’s been to long and I hope he plays well,” senior Jason Deanes said.

Woods was the most dominant golfer from 2000-2010, until it seemed his aging body gave out, with injuris piling up, one after the other, and most of them involving Tigers back.

Woods had surgery in September of 2015, and has had a few follow-up procedures done to make sure everything is right. Woods last win was August 4th, 2013 at the Bridgestone Invitational.

“Watching Tiger win again would be amazing. He’s my favorite. I want to watch him make a comeback,” junior Joey Carlson said.
