What are the team’s biggest strengths?
“We always leave our heart out on the field. We practice until it’s perfect and then do it again.”
Has the team had any obstacles to overcome this season?
“We lost a lot of seniors last year who filled vital positions, so this year there were some people who had to adjust to a new position.”
What are your goals for the season?
“Our goals are to win the MSL East again and keep the aggressive winning mentality.”
What has been the team’s best victory so far?
“Our first game [a 16-15 win over Lake Zurich] because he had to fight the whole game. We made a few mistakes in the field, but we came back the next inning with our bats. That perseverance and fight is absolutely my favorite part of the team.”
What are you most looking forward to in your final season?
“I’m really looking forward to how our team can develop. We lost a lot of seniors last year. But people are stepping up and filling those postings, including leadership roles, and we are really coming together as a team.”
