Girls water polo remains undefeated through first 11 games

Girls water polo looks to continue their undefeated ways when host their own “Shindig” tournament tomorrow in the Prospect High School Natatorium.

The team has started the season strong with a promising 11-0 record.

They has seen progress and achievement already, grasping the champion title at the recent Glenbrook South tournament.

The girls also celebrated their victory over MSL East rival Prospect, fighting back after to two tough losses to the Knights last season.

“Our hard work and growth as a team really showed in this win because Prospect is always one of our biggest competitors,” junior Ashley Da Silva said.

As the season continues, girls water polo plans to progress and continue achieving their goals.

“Our goal as a team is to win the MSL East conference game,” Da Silva said.

The team strives to continue as far as possible in the season, gaining confidence along the way.

“We are working on individual goals as well as team goals to be as successful as possible,” Da Silva said.

The girls are confident that their teamwork and support will help them progress and keep up their winning streak.
