Yesterday, the Black Box theater transformed into Coffee House for the 15th consecutive year. Students gathered during lunch hours to celebrate art and music through performances and galleries.

“My favorite part about performing at Coffee House is entertaining people and doing music,” sophomore Jenefer Joby said.

Over 40 students performed throughout the three hours and countless more came to watch and support their classmates. The atmosphere seemed very supportive for each perforner.

“I was really nervous and my legs were shaking, but everyone was really welcoming,” Freshman Angel Perez said.

Many of the performers are involved in choir, so performing is something they are used to. “Coffee House is a really fun experience. I perform often and it’s always fun because I love to sing,” Joby said.

Hopefully, Coffee House will continue for many more years.
