According to the official Infinite Campus website, the site will be closed from student access during finals week. (3 p.m. Monday, June 5 to 8 a.m. Monday, June 12). As claimed by the site, the reasoning for the restriction of access is to allow teachers to accurately post grades without interruption.

“I think it’s a little annoying that Infinite Campus is closed, since I want to see my grades right away.” junior Baloy Lagunas said. “I understand that (the teachers) don’t want to be annoyed, but we should be able to see our grades still.”

Although this may be troubling to students who are anxious to see their updated final grades, the district has assured that the new developments will not bring any negative impact to students, and is simply to ensure teachers have enough time to post grades without students constantly demanding them to be updated. Students should be aware of the work teachers must put in to account for all of their students, and remain patient while awaiting their grades.
