This past week, the pop punk band All Time Low has teased fans on social media about potential new material. The band has not released any new music since 2015, so some fans are hopeful that this new promo might be a sign that new music is coming.
“I’m not sure exactly what it means. I think it’s either a new album they’re working on, or it’s another tour since the Future Heats [All Time Low’s previous album] logo was in one of the videos,” junior Michael Dougherty said.
The band has been posting small clips on twitter and instagram, linking followers to a website where they can simply join a mailing list.
“At first, I thought it was promoting their new music videos because the instagram videos make the Future Hearts album cover very prominent. But, I’m guessing they’re about to release a new single which will introduce an album,” junior Jeanne Porges said.
Understandably, there has been a lot of confusion among the fan base. BBC Radio 1 announced yesterday that there will be a new song premiering tonight at 2:15AM central time (8:15AM UK Time). There is no information on if this is leading to a new album, tour, or will just stop at a single.
Fans have a lot of hope for what this new music could include.
“I hope that the new music sounds like their older albums, like Nothing Personal or Don’t Panic,” Dougherty said.
“I love their fast paced songs, so I would love to hear more songs like that,” Porges said.
If this promo is truly leading up to a new album, fans are certainly ready for anything the band might produce.
